Rewards Club Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the SnackFinder® Rewards Club ("the Rewards Club"), operated by SnackFinder Ltd ("SnackFinder").

1. Eligibility

Participation in the Rewards Club is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.

Employees, directors and immediate family members of SnackFinder Ltd may participate only with the prior written consent of SnackFinder.

2. Qualifying Referral

A qualifying referral is one where:

• the participant introduces a food business that has not already been contacted by SnackFinder;
• the referred business successfully registers with SnackFinder using the participant's referral;
• the referred business is approved by SnackFinder and becomes an active vendor;
• the referred business confirms the identity of the referrer if requested; and
• the referral is accepted by SnackFinder as genuine.

Referrals remain valid for 30 days from the date they are submitted.

3. Referral Reward

Participants will receive:

• £10 when a referred vendor successfully completes registration, is approved by SnackFinder and becomes an active SnackFinder vendor.
• A further £10 once that vendor successfully completes their first paid monthly subscription following any applicable free trial or promotional period.

A maximum of £20 may be paid in respect of any one qualifying vendor referral.

If the referred vendor does not make their first subscription payment for any reason, the second £10 reward will not become payable.

Only one referral reward may be paid per qualifying vendor.

4. First Referrer

Where more than one participant refers the same business, only the first valid referral received and accepted by SnackFinder will qualify for a reward.

SnackFinder's decision as to the first qualifying referral shall be final.

5. Payment

The first £10 referral reward will normally be paid within 30 days of the referred vendor being approved and activated.

Where applicable, the second £10 referral reward will normally be paid within 30 days of the referred vendor successfully making their first monthly subscription payment.

Payments will be made by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.

SnackFinder reserves the right to request proof of identity and bank account details before making any payment.

6. Exclusions

Referral rewards will not be payable where:

• the referred business is already registered with SnackFinder;
• the referred business has already been approached or contacted by SnackFinder before the referral is received;
• the referred business does not complete registration;
• the referred business is declined by SnackFinder;
• the referral is fraudulent, misleading or made in bad faith;
• false or misleading information has been supplied;
• the referred vendor does not complete their first paid monthly subscription (in which case the second £10 referral reward will not be payable); or
• the participant has breached these Terms and Conditions.

7. Fraud and Abuse

SnackFinder reserves the right to withhold, refuse or recover any referral reward where it reasonably believes there has been:

• fraudulent activity;
• abuse of the Rewards Club;
• multiple or duplicate referrals;
• self-referrals;
• referrals created solely to obtain rewards; or
• any conduct which SnackFinder considers dishonest or contrary to the spirit of the Rewards Club.

SnackFinder's decision shall be final.

8. Taxes

Participants are responsible for declaring and paying any tax arising from referral rewards where required by law.

9. Privacy

Personal information will be processed in accordance with SnackFinder's Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

Information may be used to verify referrals and process payments.

10. Changes to the Rewards Club

SnackFinder reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Rewards Club or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Any changes will not affect referral rewards already earned before the date of the change.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnackFinder shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from participation in the Rewards Club.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability which cannot legally be excluded.

12. Independent Relationship

Participation in the Rewards Club does not create any employment, worker, agency, partnership, joint venture or contractor relationship between the participant and SnackFinder Ltd.

Participants have no authority to act on behalf of SnackFinder, enter into contracts, make representations or bind SnackFinder in any way.

Participation in the Rewards Club is entirely voluntary, and either party may end participation at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
